Mend America in support of DACA

Official communicaitons were sent to nine governors of the states that pressured #45 into recalling DACA.

Mend America sent the following communication:

As a US citizen, I am appalled by your states decision to instigate the termination of DACA. DACA recipients pay taxes, attend colleges and universities, and contribute to our communities. I urge you to work with your representatives to pass legislation providing a pathway to citizenship.

Mend America @ Long Beach Zine Fest

Frau Fiber and Faux Frau’s Lauren, Chantel and Judith, asked Zine Fest Attendees if they would like to “Mend America”, they distributed about 70 mend kits.  Some production occurred on site and went home with participants.
